Day three at Andros South Lodge in the Bahamas... There's always an unsettling -yet exciting energy at the beginning of destination trips. Everyone has the same question on their mind... How's the fishing been? After flying into Congo Town on Saturday, we were all excited to hear the fishing the week before was -"off the charts".
Cold fronts have a way of making off the chart fishing turn south in a hurry. Day one greeted us with 25 mph winds, cool weather and cloudy skies. Although conditions improved slightly our second day, things were still pretty darn tough. Fish were caught, but it wasn't ideal. Fortunately, our luck changed today and we woke to a beautiful morning. -Light winds, bright skies and weather in the 80's. The fish responded to the positive change and everyone had a fun day on the flats. It's great to be in the Bahamas again.
