You will need a valid fishing license to fish all of our waters in Oregon and
Washington. You are responsible for obtaining your license prior to your trip. We
can not leave the boat ramp in the morning if you have not purchased one.
You will need and Oregon Fishing License if you are fishing the Deschutes, Hood,
Sandy, Clackamas, or any of the North Coast Rivers.
The Gorge Fly Shop in Hood River, Oregon sells Oregon Fishing Licenses. The Fly
Shop is located at 201 Oak St. Hood River, Oregon 97031. Their phone number is
(541) 386-6977. If they are closed, the Hood River Walmart sells licenses until
10:00pm. Walmart is located at 2700 Wasco Ave. Hood River, Oregon 97031. Their
phone number is (541) 387-2300.
The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife sells Oregon fishing licenses On-Line.
However, there is a waiting period for the document to be mailed to you.
You will need a Washington Fishing License if you are fishing the Klickitat or any
other Washington waters.
The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife sells Washington fishing licenses.
You can imediately obtain the document on this site.
If you are fishing the Deschutes River...
* A Bureau of Land Management Deschutes River Boaters Pass is required for all
boaters on the Deschutes.
You must purchase a Boaters Pass prior to your guide trip. Additionally, Fridays,
Saturdays and Sundays from July 1 through October 15 are limited use weekends. If
you are booking a trip during this time, you must obtain a Boaters Pass
IMMEDIATELY. You will be responsible for the cost of the trip if you show up on
limited use days without a Boaters Pass and there is no availability.
*How to purchase a Boaters Pass
